Useful Information

The physical bank account to be used with SCO Online Payments can be an existing bank account or a new bank account set up specifically to use with SCO Online Payments.
Within SCO, all bank accounts with cost centres containing products or trips that will be made available to purchase via SCO Online Payments must be configured to be used with either VMS or your Local Authority’s ePayment gateway (specific LAs only).
If you don't yet have a VMS account, please contact support@tucasi.com.

Configure Dinner Money for Online Payments

Available online

Tick Available online to activate Dinners on http://scopay.com immediately for parents to pay for school meals

Minimum online top-up

Enter a Minimum online top-up (the minimum amount the parent can pay on checkout).
Schools sometimes set a minimum amount to help reduce the cost of transaction charges.
Leave as 0.00 if no minimum is required.

Online meal preferences

If your parents order in advance, they can set View or Edit their preferences online.
We would advise against allowing parents to Edit preferences online as these can easily be changed by the parent after the meals have been ordered.
See more about Preferences

Allow online code entry

This option will allow parents to order/book  meals online

Require positive balance

Tick this to prevent parents ordering/booking meals online unless they have paid first and have enough credit

Advanced booking limits - From

This setting controls the cut-off point when a parent can book their child's meals.
Examples:
From 1 day = parent can order/book meals up to midnight the night before
From 2 days = parent can order/book meals up to midnight 2 nights before

Advanced booking limits - Cutoff time

The Cutoff time is only available if the from days is set to zero.

This means that parents can order on the same day, but the cutoff defines by what time they have to be ordered. For example, if it's 11:00, then parents will not be able to order meals for today after 11:00.

Advanced booking limits - To

This setting controls how far into the future a parent can book their child's meals.
Examples:
To 0 days = parent can order/book meals up to any time in the future
To 7 days = parent can only book meals for up to 7 days in advance
