Check the imports are listed in the central window
If not, select the import to Run in the top left box and select on Start up SCO

4. The SIMS user may not be assigned to the correct groups in SIMS.net
In order for data to transfer from SIMS.net into SCO, the SIMS user should be a member of the Third Party Reporter, Administration Assistant and Personnel Officer access rights groups for SIMS.net.
To check these permissions:
Log on to SIMS.net as a user with Administrator privileges
Select Focus, click System Manager, select Manage Groups
(if the System Manager or Manage Groups options do not appear, you will need to log in to SIMS with higher privileges)Search for Third Party Reporter Group
Double click Third Party Reporter
View the Members section to ensure the user is listed
If not, within the Members section, click Add
Search for the User name. From the bottom half of the screen, highlight the user you wish to add and click OK. The user name will appear in the Members section
Click Close to exit the Group screen
Click Yes to save changes
Repeat the above process for the Administration Assistant User Group and Personnel Officer User Group
Exit SIMS.net
Restart SCO and the imports should run automatically
5. Your computer may not have full permissions to run/use the Dynamic Link
Ensure that the correct permissions are granted in the sco directory. You may need your local IT to assist you with the following steps, as this may require Administrative access to your PC:
Open a My Computer window and click on your computer's C Drive
Locate the sco folder (C:\sco)
Right-click on the sco folder
Click on Properties
Go to the Security tab
Ensure All Users have Full Control, Read, and Write permissions to the folder
Click Edit to make any changes
Click OK
Restart SCO and the imports should run automatically
6. Does SIMS.net sign in automatically for you when you open SIMS on your PC?
If so, SIMS can update the password every 30 days, without the user knowing, so the wrong password may be entered into SCO which may be stopping the link from working. To solve this, you may need to create a new user in SIMS, which has a permanent password. You may need your local IT/SIMS Manager to assist you with this.
Ensure that this new user is assigned to the correct groups, as detailed in step 4.
