Bank Account Settings for Lettings

Useful information

Settings should be configured prior to using the Lettings module, usually with the guidance of your training consultant.



Configure the Lettings Cost Centres

 

  1. Click on the Configuration tab

  2. Select Banking configuration

  3. Select Bank accounts/cost centres

  4. Select the Pre-payments accounts tab

  5. At the bottom of the screen under Lettings account, the name of the cost centre used by the Lettings account should be set to Lettings

  6. Select the Bank account that this Lettings cost centre should use*

  7. By default the cost centre used to collect Lettings insurance income is set to Lettings Insurance

  8. If required, select an alternative cost centre

  9. Click on Done

  10. Switch to the Banking tab and ensure the Lettings and Lettings Insurance cost centres are in the correct bank account

*If necessary, create a new bank account via Bank accounts and cost centres. Click to highlight All bank accounts and click Add new bank account.
