CLASSES - Some old classes are showing on my system - how do I remove these?
Useful Information
Classes should update automatically during the Academic Year End Process.
If you haven't yet completed this process, you can download the guide here Academic Year End Guide
If you have completed the Academic Year End Process and there is still a problem, carry out the following (ensure your MIS is updated with the same data to avoid any changes being overwritten during a future import)
CLASSES - Some old classes are showing on my system - how do I remove these?
If old classes are displayed in SCO, this might be because there are pupils still assigned to the class.
You will need to move these pupils into a different class or delete them before you can delete the class.
1. View the pupil in the class
Click on the Configuration tab
Click on Account configuration
Click on Pupils
Click on the + sign next to the class name and click on the relevant pupil
2. EITHER Move the pupils to the correct class
If the pupils should still be on the system, assign them to their correct Class and Year Group
Click on Done
3. OR Delete the Pupils
If the pupils should no longer be on the system and they have no account balances, click on Delete this pupil in the above screen
Click on Done
4. Delete the Class
Click on the Configuration tab
Click on Account configuration
Click on Classes
Select the class and click Delete class
Click on Done
