To Add a VAT Code

1. Click on the Configuration tab

2. Select Income configuration

3. Select VAT codes

4. Click the + sign to the right of the Standard code (the first code is the standard VAT code and cannot be deleted)

5. Enter a Code, Description and Rate

6. A code type of Exempt, Non-business or Zero-rated can be assigned to any 0.00 rated codes: click the Code type down arrow and select the required code

7. Tick the Default box next to the relevant VAT code

8. Click Done to save
