Useful Information

Complete this section to set up Pupil Premium for first use.

Pupil Premium Setup

Refer to the following sections, if applicable to your school.

a. Add the Pupil Premium Cost Centre

Before pupil premium contributions can be recorded, you need to add and assign a cost centre:

  1. Select the Configuration tab
  2. Select Banking configuration
  3. Select Bank accounts/cost centres
  4. Select the bank account which will be linked to pupil premium contributions
  5. Select Add new cost centre
  6. Type the name for the cost centre in the Details field in the right hand window, i.e. Pupil Premium
  7. Select Done

b. Configure the Pupil Premium Cost Centre

Link the new cost centre for pupil premium spending:

  1. Select the Configuration tab
  2. Select Banking configuration
  3. Select Bank accounts/cost centres
  4. Select the Pupil premium tab
  5. From the drop down menu select the new cost centre that has been created.
  6. Select Done

c. Import the Pupil Premium indicator for pupils


The Pupil Premium indicator can be imported into SCO from your MIS system.
The field will 
import automatically if using the SIMS or Wonde dynamic link.
If using a csv file to import pupil data, the 
Pupil Premium field will need to be added to your import file.
You can also manually configure pupil accounts to indicate Pupil Premium status.
