Send Messages for Parents' Evening

Useful Information

Any SCO user can access the SCOPAY Admin Site.  To set up new SCO users, see section Add New SCO Users.

Reminders can be sent to parents for Parents’ Evenings if the school is using the Tucasi Communications module.

These messages can be sent to:

  • Parents that have booked an appointment.

  • Parents that have not yet booked an appointment.

  • All parents regardless of whether they have booked or not.

Send an Email or Text for a Parents' Evening Meeting

  1. Login into the SCOPAY Admin Site www.scopay.com/UserWebapp with your SCO email address and password

  2. Click on the Communications tab

  3. Select Parents’ evening messages

  4. Select the Meeting that the message relates to

  5. Select the Teacher or All staff

  6. Select the appropriate Accounts

  7. Select Export to send a message

  8. A blank Email and Text are displayed - deselect either of these if required

  9. Compose the message and apply formatting if required

  10. Add any attachments

  11. Click on Send message

  12. The message will be sent and will display in the Message history log

Note: if both Email and Text messages are created, the default import setting specifies that the message will be sent by Text in the first instance.
An email will then only be sent to contacts with no mobile telephone numbers.  
You can check and change the priority of these options through your Communication configuration settings (see section On import default to).
