To Delete a Bank Account or Cost Centre

Important Information

You may wish to tidy up cost centres at the end of the financial year.
The Dinner Money cost centre is part of the system structure so we recommend leaving this unchanged, even if you are not using the Dinners module. 
Other system cost centres can be deleted, if required.



To Delete a Bank account or cost centre

  1. Generate the Products Report to see which products are linked to a cost centre

  2. Follow steps 1, 2 and 3 on the Delete a Trip or Event page to clear any funds in the account, then return to this page

  3. Click on the Configuration tab

  4. Select Banking configuration

  5. Select Bank accounts/cost centres

  6. Select the bank account or cost centre to be deleted

  7. Select Delete 

  8. Click Done



Warning

It is not possible to delete a bank account after transactions have been recorded against it 
Cost centres can be deleted and will still show on some of the reports
