Useful Information

For trips with multiple payments, set up a payment schedule to monitor who is overdue with payments.
Use Assist Me to set up the payment schedule automatically.

Set up a Trip Payment Schedule

  1. Click on the Trips and events tab
  2. Select the relevant trip
  3. Click Change trip
  4. Click on Save and edit payment schedule
  5. Click the red Add button to create the first instalment payment
  6. On the right hand side of the screen edit the Date and Amount of the first instalment 
  7. Click Save 
  8. Click the red Add button to create the second instalment payment
  9. On the right hand side of the screen edit the Date and Amount of the second instalment 
  10. Repeat for each instalment payment
  11. Click Save and exit
  12. When asked Have you finished making changes to the payment schedule? select Yes
  13. When asked Do you wish to print new payment cards for all the pupils on the trip? select Yes or No as required
    Note: the payment cards can be printed out later if required (for further information on Trip payment cards, see the relevant section in Trip reports)


Monthly Billing Payment Schedules

If the Trip is enabled with Monthly Billing the payment will be collected from the parent on the day of the month they have set in their SCOPAY account, not on the day of the month set in the Payment Schedule. 

For example, Payment 1 is set to 1st June, but if a parents Monthly Billing day is not till 12th then Payment 1 will be collected on the 12th June for this parent.






How the Trip Payment Schedule displays on SCOPAY

When the parents log into their SCOPAY account, and select View Products, they will see a list of available Trips.

To view the Payment Schedule they will need to click on the (info) next to the Trip name:

They will then be able to view the Trip Payment Schedule under the Trip Details:
