Change meal or session prices to take effect from today or a date in the past

If you need to change meal or session prices to take effect from today or a date before today, carry out the following:

Click on
the
the Configuration
tab

Select
Select System options
Select
the
the Dinners/Extended day
tab
tab
At the bottom
ensure
ensure Allow meal price changes for dates before today
is
is ticked
Click
on
on Done

Click on
the
the Dinners or Extended Day
tab
tab
Click
on
on Settings... (top right)
Click
on
on Meal or Session codes
Click
on
on Advanced price config (bottom right)
Select the meal or session code from the drop down
Click on
Either click on Add new
to
to add a new price (do not change an existing meal price or this will affect meals already entered in SCO)
or click the date to adjust the start date for that price

In the top row, enter the date the new price is
effective
effective From (this can be backdated if required)
Leave
the
the To
date
date blank
Enter the
first
first Price (pupil price) and then
the
the Price w/VAT (adult price)
Repeat for other meal or session codes as required
Click
on
on Done
Restart Schools Cash Office to update the meal or session prices and any current balances.
