Useful Information

There are various imports that can be automated, depending on your school's requirements and the modules you are licensed for

...

Ensure you have first completed the section Set the Pupil and Staff IDs

Review the Import types below to see which ones are relevant to your school, then:
Only select the Import types relevant to the modules you are licensed for.

  1. In SCO, click on the Configuration tab

  2. Click on Import from external system

  3. Click on Import configuration

  4. Change CSV file to Wonde Dynamic Link for the required Import types
    Note that Import type 'Pupil' should always be selected

Surname, Forename, Date of birth, Pupil ID, Address, Registration Group, Year Group, Free School Meal Eligibility, Dietary Needs, Parental Salutation, Gender, Pupil Premium Eligibility

Staff*

Surname, Forename, Class (if marked as a Teacher in SIMS)

Note that the Parent Salutation field cannot be imported using the Wonde link.  We recommend using Dear Parent/Carer of <Pupils Forename> for letters, emails and texts sent from SCO.  See Amend Existing Templates for further instruction

Can be used to import absences for absence mail merge

Any codes that are used in your MIS to record absences can be mapped to codes in SCO.  After import, absence codes will overwrite any dinners previously ordered for today in SCO. The pupils' balances will automatically update to reflect the absence.  See Import Pupil Dinner Attendance (Absences) using the MIS Link for further information

Pupil ID, Contact’s First Name Contact’s Last Name, Contact ID, Contact’s Phone Number, Contact’s Mobile Number, Contact’s Priority, Contact’s Email Address
