Process for switching Caterers
Useful Information
This process applies to primary and secondary schools using SCOPAY for school meals provided by an external caterer.
Switching caterers must be carried out alongside a Tucasi Consultant after the existing caterer's contract ceases and prior to the new caterer's contract starting.

Process for switching Caterers
Tucasi requests a VMS account for the new caterer
Once the VMS account is live, a 30 minute remote session is booked to make the switchover
This will include:Taking school meals offline
Generating reports to ascertain the total credit and debit balances for school meals
The total of these reports is the amount due to the original catererA new bank account is added in SCO together with the VMS details for the new caterer
School meals goes back online with the new caterer
Any pupil cashless catering balances (credits or debts) will be carried forward. Parents/pupils will not be affected by the switchover.
