SCOPAY Announcement Email Functionality

This feature has been added for all schools to allow SCO users to send important or special email announcements to parents who have a registered SCOPAY.com account at no cost.
These announcements might include items such as updates on the SCOPAY site, SCOPAY mobile app, etc.
The SCOPAY Announcement Email option will show for all schools, including those who are not currently licensed for the Communications module and will allow them to send SCOPAY-related emails free of charge.
Note that the emails will be sent to the parent's email address registered on SCOPAY, which might be different to the email address in Schools Cash Office.
SCOPAY Announcement Email Functionality
To access the Communications menu and the SCOPAY Announcement Email button:
1. Log in to scopay.com/UserWebapp Admin site using Chrome, Firefox or Edge.
Use your usual Schools Cash Office Username and Password
2. Select the Communications menu
3. The SCOPAY Announcement Email button has been added to the menu
4. The email window will be pre-populated with the latest announcement allowing you to preview it.
Make any changes to the email here.
The default text currently reads:
5. All current SCOPAY users are automatically selected as recipients
Note that the message will only be sent to the email address used by the parent to register their SCOPAY account.
This is not linked to any email addresses stored in Schools Cash Office for use with the Communications module. Use the Create a message option if you wish to email all parents with email addresses in Schools Cash Office.
6. Select Send message to confirm the distribution list
7. Review the final list of emails to be sent and Send once you’re happy
8. The messages can be viewed in the Message history log
