Add a new Teacher to SCO for Classroom Edition

1. The Teacher needs to have a Staff account in SCO

  1. Click on the Configuration tab

  2. Click on Account configuration

  3. Click on Staff

  4. Check to see if the Teacher is already listed as a Staff member

  5. If not, refer to the page Add New Staff (to Record Income against)

  6. Click on Done


2. Add the Teacher as a User in Schools Cash Office

  1. Click on the Configuration tab

  2. Select User configuration

  3. Click Add

  4. Enter the User name (this must be a valid email address)

  5. Enter the TitleFirst name and Last name

  6. Assign the user to an existing User group (you might have one for Teachers/Dinners/Classroom already) or Add a new user group* (see instructions below)

  7. Enter the new user’s email address again and click Done

  8. Click Yes when asked to save user

  9. Repeat for any other new teachers and click on Close

  • To add a new user group:

  1. Click on Edit user group and then on the Add button

  2. Type a User group name, e.g. Classroom only

  3. Tick the boxes as required to give access to the Extended Day module

  4. Click on OK

  5. Click on OK

  6. Check the User details and User group

  7. Click the down arrow next to Default startup tab when they login to SCO

  8. Select Extended Day

  9. Click OK


3. The Teacher should verify their email address and create a Password

  1. A new user verification email will be sent to the provided email address

  2. If the email does not arrive, check the Spam / Junk folder

  3. To activate the new user, the user should click on the activation link in the verification email

  4. Set the password, when prompted


4. The Teacher should now login to Classroom Edition and select the club

  1. Go to https://scopay.com/ClassroomWebapp

  2. Login with the email address and password created above

  3. Select Order Meal or Session for today

  4. Select Control and Settings

  5. Refer to Optional Settings for Classroom Edition
