4. The SIMS user may not be assigned to the correct groups in SIMS.net
In order for data to transfer from SIMS.net into SCO, the SIMS user should be a member of the the Third Party Reporter, Administration Assistant and and Personnel Officer access access rights groups for SIMS.net.
To check these permissions:

5. Your computer may not have full permissions to run/use the Dynamic Link
Ensure that the correct permissions are granted in the the sco directory directory. You may need your local IT to assist you with the following steps, as this may require Administrative access to your PC:

6. Does SIMS.net sign in automatically for you when you open SIMS on your PC?
If so, SIMS can update the password every 30 days, without the user knowing, so the wrong password may be entered into SCO which may be stopping the link from working. To solve this, you may need to create a new user in SIMS, which has a permanent password. You may need your local IT/SIMS Manager to assist you with this.
Ensure that this new user is assigned to the correct groups, as detailed in step 4.
