Useful Information

We recommend that teachers work through the following settings in each classroom to get the best display for each class.

  3. Configure the following options:


Account button font size:

Changing the font size here will affect the buttons with the pupils' names on.  Increase the font size if you would like the names to be larger.

Other button font size:

Changing the front size here will affect the buttons with the meal choices and meal descriptions.  Increase the font size if you would like the meal choices and or descriptions to be larger.

Show confirm screen when meal chosen:

This setting adds an extra step - select the pupil's name and select the meal choice required.  A message appears asking the user to confirm the meal choice before it is assigned.

Show account photo if available:

It is possible to display photos of the children in school if these are available in your MIS.  See Add Pupil Photos for further information.

Show meal selection on account button:

This option shows the name of the meal selected under the pupil's name.

Require authorisation before changing class:

If the Teacher wishes to switch to another class, they would first need to enter their password.

Show birthday of accounts:

This setting will show BIRTHDAY TODAY under the pupil's name if it is their birthday today.

*Show class on start-up:

*This setting will take you straight to your class when you load up Classroom Edition.

* We recommend setting this option in each Classroom.

If there are too many pupils in your class to display on the screen, press the Esc key on your keyboard to close Full Screen mode.
