The SIMS dynamic link imports leaving dates for any leavers. It does not delete leavers from SCO - this gives you the opportunity to chase any debts or clear balances. You will need to follow the process below. |
Delete Pupils using the Dynamic Link to SIMS
1. Import Leaving Dates
- Click on the Configuration tab
- Click on Import from external system
- Click on Import configuration
- Next to Import type Leavers, ensure SIMS Dynamic Link is selected (not csv)
- Click on OK
- Click on Leavers import
- The link to SIMS will run and pull in any leaving dates
- Click on Close
2. Delete the Leavers
- Click on the Admin tab
- Click on End of academic year
- Click on Process leaving dates
Deleted pupils will be archived in the system but can be restored at a later date if required - see section Restore Deleted Pupils or Staff
