Important Information

If you are not licensed for either the SCO Dinners or Extended day modules there is no requirement to set term dates

Enter New Term Dates and School Closures (INSET or Bank Holidays)

1. Click on the Configuration tab
    (if you don't have the Configuration tab, to update term dates in the Dinners or Extended day tab, select Settings, Term dates)

2. Select System options

3. Under the General tab next to Set up term dates click Set up

4. Scroll down to the bottom of the listed term dates, if necessary and select the Addbutton against Term dates or Day closures (which include INSET days and Bank Holidays)

5. For Term dates, for each half term, select the School opens and School closes date.

6. Enter a Description such as Autumn 1

7. Repeat for all 6 half terms.  Select Done.

8. For Day closures (INSET or Bank Holidays) enter the Closure date and a Description.

9. Select Done, select Done.

The Dinner money module will update automatically. School closures will appear as an X on the Dinner money screen

Extra Steps for Extended day clubs

If using the Extended day module you will apply term dates when the clubs are set up. 
If already set up, to update them:

  1. Click on the Extended day tab

  2. For the first club, click Settings, Session dates

  3. If you wish to use the standard term dates added above, click Merge standard term dates at the bottom of the screen to update the session dates

  4. Repeat the above for each Club that you have set up

  5. If your Extended day clubs are open during the school holidays, then enter the School opens and School closes dates as applicable for each club instead

  6. School closures will appear as an X on the Extended day screen
